Prof. S. Waqar Ahmed Husaini,
Visiting Scholar, Honorary, Stanford University , Calif, 1986-2006, and … Founder, Institute of Islamic Sciences, Technology, and Development ( USA ; 1987). Has been an expert consultant, United Nations organizations (WMO, UNEP, UNESCO, FAO, etc); US government agencies; Islamic and Arab Inter-Governmental, and other Non-Governmental Organizations.
He got a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Osmania University, India. During studies in USA for a Master's in water resources engineering (1961-63), and long studies (1963-71) for Ph.D. in systems engineering at Stanford University, he pursued through self-study the Islamization of knowledge: introduction of Islamic ethics and values. In 1969 he taught at Stanford courses on "Islam and the West", and pursued research during 1974-75, 1981-82, 1983-84. During 1972-86, through teaching and research in the universities of Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, he pursued Islamization of education, water resources engineering, environment, water law, economics, engineering economics, philosophy and history of science, etc. During 1989-92, he taught in USA the philosophy and history of Islamic science, Islamic bio-medical ethics, etc.
Dr. Husaini had sent to university libraries copies of his Ph.D. dissertation in 1971 (see, Islamic Sciences). It became a frame of reference for the World Conferences on Islamic Economics (1976), Education (1977-80), and others. His goal has been to Islamize the secularized, traditionalist religious, and 'mixed 1 education systems of Muslims, and their cultures.
Since 1986, and even 1982, Prof. Husaini has been denied jobs in the universities of many Muslim countries, USA, and even research grants due to the implications of Islamization for political systems, and Muslim traditional religiosity. Nevertheless, he has been pursuing Islamization all over the world through his publications and IISTD (Appendixes). |

Prof. S. WAQAR AHMED HUSAINI
Visiting Scholar, Honorary (1986-2006, and …), Stanford Univ, California;
President, IISTD/Institute of Islamic Sciences, Technology, and Development (USA; outsourced): <www.islamicscience.org>
Why are Muslims under Humiliation/ khizya Now and in Recent Centuries ? Muslims are 'reductionists'/ takhisiyyun , and not in ‘whole Islam', as-silm al-kaffah (Qur'an)
"Do you, then, believe in a part of the book, and are Rejectors/ kafirun of a part? What can be the reward for those among you who do this except humiliation/ khizya in the life of this world, and in the Hereafter they will be consigned to the worst punishment" (Qur'a n 2:85)
The Qur 'a n has 6226 verses: 941 on water sciences and engineering, about 1400 on economics (books #21-25; #37); key words siy a m (fasting) occur in 6 verses, Hajj in 8; on Arabic language 14, (11 on ‘Quran in Arabic', 3 on bi-lis a nuka, ‘in your language', addressing the Prophet). Hence:
(1)
Quranic and Prophet Mohammed's Arabic Language or a most important Islamic duty ( fard ).
(2) Islamic NATURAL SCIENCES, TECHNOLOGY and ECONOMICS are fard and major QURANIC, ISLAMIC, and RELIGIOUS ‘SCIENCES'. Muslims don't believe so, don't teach and preach them in ‘religious' institutions. Hence Muslims are incapable of protecting Islam, their reason, life, posterity, wealth, honor ( din,`aql , hayat, nasal, mal, `ird ). Non-Muslims took over ‘Islamic' sciences, secularized them, and have the power to oppress and mankind.
(3) The word All a h (God) occurs about 2700 times; Rabb /Nourisher 970 times; pronouns for God are innumerable. Hence
(4) Islamization --- tawhid , integration with Islam of the ideological and technological ‘two cultures' --- is a most important fard , and secularization is ‘Rejection' of Islam, kafirization . Hence, Muslims have at best adopted secularism superficially as mediocre imitators; they have remained ‘backward' since secularism can not be reconciled with ‘holistic Islam' ( as-silm al-kaffah ). Islamization is also a necessity for Muslim development; however, as in the Early centuries, whatever is true in other cultures will be assimilated in Islamic cultures since Islam is the ‘way of truth' ( din al-haq).
